Approved 2

Worker adoption of new technology is a challenge for many organizations. Employers are tackling this challenge by introducing new safety devices and software. Connecting frontline workers to digital processes and tools is critical to boost safety, but also can signal a cultural and operational shift. Success depends on getting teams comfortable, confident and compliant with connected technologies. In this session, Andrea Hine will share firsthand experience on how energy companies have engaged frontline workers to ensure successful adoption of safety technology. She’ll discuss how it’s being done at scale to ensure efficiencies are realized. You’ll discover ways to collaborate with end users during the design process to ensure technology is intuitive and aligned with real-world needs. You’ll also learn about strategies and toolkits to enhance worker participation and collaboration and gather feedback, and processes to scale technology across multiple sites to maximize efficiency.
