Arc Ratings, DC Arcs and AR PPE Performance in DC Arcs (Plus Updates on New OSHA Guidance)

This session will cover DC arc flash, the differences between AC and DC arcs, and brand new research on how existing arc ratings (which are measured on AC equipment) compare to DC arc ratings. We’ll share the research, results and conclusions around whether separate DC arc ratings will be required. We’ll also discuss the new OSHA guidance on arc flash – including the reasoning behind it – and updates on compliance and continued incidents and injuries.
