"Knock. Knock. Who’s There? Inspector.” A Guide to Permanent Inspection Readiness

“Hello, I’m the inspector and I’m here to audit your facility.” What’s your first instinct? Shut down the production line? Call all the managers into the “super secret” conference room? Run? Audits are a critical process step in driving continuous improvement within corporate EHS programs, and they should be embraced and supported – not feared. In this session, we’ll dive into this culture, review how you can prepare your facility (with examples of successful internal inspection structures) and discuss what you’ll need to establish your own corporate programs. These will be provided in a take-home document that you can provide to your teams for immediate deployment. As leaders within our organization, we can either run for the hills or establish programs to better enable our teams to feel confident and be permanently “inspection ready.”
