Duties assigned under the “other duties as assigned” clause may not undergo proper safety analysis. And duties not analyzed for safety management may create avoidable hazardous environments that can cause injury, illness or death. Safety is a team effort. In this session, you’ll learn to how to collaborate with Human Resources and and leadership teams to develop the language and support framework to ensure “other duties as assigned” are analyzed prior to assignment. We’ll discuss who can be impacted by “other duties as assigned,” and what support is needed to assist supervisors and workers.
