Fast-forward to 2025, when many view the term “DEI” as inherently controversial, as it has become a battleground in the culture wars. Conversations around DEI have become increasingly divisive, and the critiques come from a broad range of perspectives and ideologies. These “DEI divides” have brought real challenges to workplaces – many of which are rethinking what, if anything, they will do to move forward with DEI.
